From July 1 – July 31, 2014, customers will have the opportunity to donate to JDRF at checkout at any of  the 8,000 Walgreens locations across the United States and Puerto Rico!

Visit your local Walgreens store in the Bay Area  to donate $1, $2, $5, or $10 at checkout to support type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The dollars raised through this campaign will help JDRF create a world without T1D!

The Walgreens partnership with JDRF spans over 21 consecutive years and has raised more than $25 million dollars in support of type one diabetes research. Last year, Walgreens generated over $4.6 million for JDRF through customer donations in more than 8,000 outlets in the United States and Puerto Rico.

JDRF is part of the Walgreens Way to Well Commitment™, a Walgreens (NYSE, NASDAQ: WAG) initiative to improve the everyday health of Americans nationwide. Through the Way to Well Commitment, Walgreens will bring $100 million in preventive health care resources, health testing services and charitable programs to its stores and thousands of communities in all 50 states over a four year period.
